About the Author

James M. Kauffman has been a classroom teacher of emotionally disturbed and typically developing children. He has been a faculty member in the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia since 1970, and has published widely about education in both books and journals.

The is a must have classroom management resource

Recent popular books like teach like a champion are actually not as well researched and thoughtful as a true university level text.
I like that this volume encourages one to take a reflective analytical approach and includes case studies to practice application of case analysis skills. I will be keeping this as a reference to my teacher library.
