An excellent reference book.

An excellent reference material on the early organisation and rituals of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. The only thing missing is a visual depiction of the regalia, jewels and symbols of the various degrees of the Rite. There is also some illegible print at the bottom of a number of pages. I rate the book five stars.

This book together with rituals "Ordo ab Chao" 1801 of first Supreme Council in South Carolina and Magnum Opus by Albert Pike are valuable source for Scottish Rite studying, history of SR degrees and its moral teachings.

The format adds a lot to masonic study

Our study group is using this to research early Scottish Rite masonry. The original format of the pages and typeset is great and adds a lot to the feel of the mid-19th century manuscript. The first bite has increased my hunger for more.
